Biography

I am a Lecturer in Economics at the JE Cairnes School of Business and Economics at the University of Galway. I am also an affiliated researcher with the Centre for Economic Demography at Lund University.

My research interests lie in applied microeconomics, particularly in the fields of labour and development economics. I study the drivers of and the returns to the production of human capital, as well as the determinants of intrahousehold inequalities in educational attainment.

I joined Galway in 2022 after completing my PhD in Economics at Lund University. Prior to this, I worked at the Economic and Social Research institute on projects in Behavioural Economics and the Economics of Energy Efficiency. In 2022, I was a visiting researcher at the Norwegian School of Economics.

For more details about my research, please see my website.
