Information Session - Funded training places for job-seekers

NUI Galway is to offer the following six courses as part of the Springboard initiative:

• Foundation Diploma in Science, Technology & Engineering
• Diploma in Environmental Sustainability
• Diploma in Medical Device Science
• Diploma in Innovation Management (Postgraduate)
• Diploma in Technology Commercialisation (Postgraduate)

An information session is being held on Monday, July 4th from 3.00 - 5.00pm in the Arts Millennium Building for candidates interested in finding out more about these programmes and for those who wish to meet with course tutors on a one-to-one basis.

To be eligible for a place on a Springboard programme students must:

1. be unemployed for a period of at least 6 months prior to the course start date with a previous history of employment and be in receipt of one of the following payments from the Department of Social Protection:
   • Jobseekers Benefit
   • Jobseekers Allowance
   • One Parent Family Payment
2. or be signing for social insurance contribution credits and be actively seeking employment
