Biography

Seosamh is originally from An Cheathrú Rua. 

He is responsible for the development of third level education through Irish and language planning. He has a particular interest in pursuing research into organisational and strategic aspects of language planning. He spent some time working on developing language policies in his role as policy co-ordination manager with Comhdháil Náisiúnta na Gaeilge. He was the director of The International Conference on Language Legislation that was held in 1998. He has also spent some time working with Glór na nGael and he was one of the co-founders of the organisation called Comhluadar.

He has a B.A. i mBainistíocht and an M.A. in Iompraíocht Eagraíochta
