Biography

Treasa is from Ros an Mhíl. 

She has a particular interest in community development and has vast experience in this area based on the work she has done with community, cultural, social and language organisations. She acted as Chairperson of Féile Phléaráca Chonamara and acted as secretary of Cumann Drámaíochta Chois Cuain. 

Treasa was also a member of Coiste Amharclann Chonamara, Founding Committee of Fóram na Gaeltachta and Meitheal Oibre na nAosach, Age Action Ireland. 

She has been named by the Government on the Board of Údarás na Gaeltachta and is a member of Údarás na hOllscoile in NUIG also. At present she is the director of Cumas Teo., Páirtíocht Chonamara agus Árann, secretary of Comharchumann Shailearna and treasurer of Coiste Pobail Ros an Mhíl. 

She is secretary of An Fhiontarlann Teo., a company belonging to the University; she is a member of Bord na Gaeilge, NUIG and a member of the National Bord of MFG Teo.   
She has a B.Oid from Coláiste Bhantiarna na Trócaire, Blackrock.
