Biography

Dr. Tom Acton is a Lecturer in Information Systems at the National University of Ireland, Galway. He has also worked in the software industry as an Oracle database administrator, and was a teacher for eleven years. His main research interests lie in decision support systems, usability, and small devices. He holds a PhD degree on Decision Support for Small-Screen Information Systems. He is a graduate of the National University of Ireland, with other qualifications in mathematics, education, software design, and Commerce.
