Student Residences
There are now ten Student Residences providing self-catering housing specifically for NUI Galway students. Of these, Corrib Village is on campus and the others are within easy reach of the campus. There is a shuttle bus from Corrib Village to NUI Galway
for students who have a valid parking permit.

here. The closing date for receipt of applications is Friday, 26th August before 2.00 p.m. and interviews will be held on Tuesday, 30th August. Applicants should ideally have lived previously for some period of time in a Student Residence and have some experience of involvement in community activity, either in the University, e.g. active involvement in a Club, Society, Mentoring or the Students Union, or as a volunteer with a Voluntary Organisation. Successful applicants will reside in Corrib Village and receive a reduction in rent to the value of €2000 (€1000 in the first semester and €1000 in the second).

Incoming students wishing to book a place in any Student Residence are advised to do so as early as possible, preferably when filling the CAO form. Application Forms, information and costing for residency are available directly from the respective resences.
