Deferral Procedures

If you have just been accepted onto a course here at NUI Galway but would like to defer your place for a year, you should refer to the 2012 Deferring Rules to be clear that you meet the necessary procedures which must be observed if the university is to be in a position to consider such an application.

After referring to the above document, you can forward your deferral application to admissionsnuigalway.ie with the subject title "Deferred Entry" in the subject bar.

You may also post your application to the following address. Please mark "Deferred Entry" clearly on the envelope:
