Scholarships

The following scholarships are tenable at this University and are awarded annually to first year registered students

Scholarship	Description
Entrance Scholarship Information 2011	Scholarship awarded on the results taken in any one year of the Leaving Certificate Examination. Note: There is no need for registering students to apply for the Entrance Scholarship as the process happens automatically once a student has been registered at NUI Galway.
Sports Scholarships	NUI Galway supports high performing athletes in a wide range of sports through its Sports Scholarship program. Details and application forms are available from the NUI Galway Sports Office here.
Roinn Oideachais Scholarships	For more information on the Roinn Oideachais Scholarship Programme please refer to the Department of Education and Science, Dublin.
James Massey Keegan Scholarship	Scholarship for competition among Mayo students. Note: There is no need for registering students to apply for the James Massey Keegan Scholarship as the process happens automatically once a student has been registered at NUI Galway.
Helen M. Moran Scholarship	Please see attached document here for more information on the Helen M. Moran Scholarship fund.

Note: NUI Galway Scholarships are awarded in mid-October when all students have registered
