How To Apply
Making your application
Log onto the course application portal where you complete an application form for the course you wish to undertake. A non-refundable application fee of €30 is paid online at this stage.
The application form includes your contact details, educational background, work experience, previous courses undertaken and any additional information that may be required to assess your suitability for the course for which you are applying.
A checklist of information is also required including:
- Copy of your birth certificate, passport or driving licence
- Certificate of English language proficiency (if applicable)
- Any other relevant documentation required as part of the application process
Closing dates for application
The closing dates for each course varies, but are typically from mid-July to late August each academic year. Check the closing date specified on the course information page and make sure that you adhere to this deadline.
What happens to my application form after I apply?
Once you apply online your application is assessed in accordance with the course selection criteria. Successful applicants are informed via email.
To accept your place, you will be required to:
- Accept your course place using the online applications portal
- Pay a deposit within the specified timeframe – this deposit is offset against the full fee payment
The process of assessing applications and offering places may take between three and four weeks and you are advised to regularly check the email address used for correspondence as all course communication will be sent to you at this email address.
Additional registration details and communication from the relevant department will be issued to all applicants approximately two weeks before the course commences, informing you of the registration date and lecture times for the course.
