Career Mentor Programme
Career mentoring puts students in touch with alumni and other professionals working in a career areas relevant to the student. The student is termed the ’mentee’ and the professional the ’mentor’.
Over a period of time, the mentor provides the mentee with professional support in the form of career guidance and advice. This relationship aims at empowering students to become responsible for their own career, by helping them think about career decisions and focus on what they want. As the relationship develops, students learn to really think about their career choice, develop their networking skills and gain valuable experience and first hand knowledge of a career.
