Message from The Alumni Association Chair

I am delighted to have the opportunity to serve as Alumni Association Chairperson. 

Since its establishment in 1999, the Board of the NUI Galway Alumni Association continues to build upon the success of its core programmes including, Reunions, Alumni Awards, Lecture Series, Club Events and the Alumni Fund. These programmes and additional events held through the year, cement the very strong bonds that exist between the University and its graduates. 

Over the coming year, we are looking to increase the opportunities available to graduates to engage with the University, both in Galway and internationally. I, along with Vice Chairperson Mairin Gilvarry BA 1988, HDip in Systems Analysis 1989and our fellow Board Members, are eager to build upon the success of the past year and continue to develop programmes that facilitate the needs of graduates. I hope that you will be a part of that success and attend alumni events throughout the year.
