Olympus Fluoview Confocal Microscope with incubator
- Inverted microscope (IX81) is fitted with an incubator for live cell experiments
- Filter cube contains dichroic mirrors & filters for a range of fluorophores.
- Gas Laser System contains: Argon laser
488 nm, Green Helium-Neon laser
543 nm, Red Helium-Neon laser
633 nm.
- Has 20x & 40x air and 60x oil immersion objectives.
- Dual monitor system used to view PMT collected fluorescent/DIC images.

- Four solid state laser lines: 405nm, 488nm and 561 and 640nm.
- Yokogawa CSU-X1 Spinning Disk Unit.
- Olympus IX81 motorised inverted microscope fitted with a piezo controlled z-stage compatible with 35mm petri dishes, chamber slides and standard microscopy slides. Stage inserts are also available for multiwell plates.
- Variable temperature/CO

humidified incubation chamber for live cell experiments.
- Range of air, water and oil objectives.
- High-resolution EMCCD camera (Andor iXon
