Ritual in Late Bronze Age Ireland – material culture, practices, landscape setting, and social context.

Katherine Leonard (PhD2)
This thesis investigates the broader context of ritual in Late Bronze Age Ireland by identifying and analysing evidence for, and patterns of, ritual action in the archaeological record. A new perspective on this period can be developed by determining how distinct ritual expressions relate to each other, their immediate environment and wider landscape, and the social contexts within which they were carried out.
