The Mechanics of Passage Tomb Cemeteries:  A Study of Space and Ritual at Loughcrew Co. Meath in the Context of the Irish Passage Tomb Tradition.

This research will focus on the ritual organisation of public space in Neolithic Passage Tomb Cemeteries. By exploring phases of building activity, evidence for building objectives and inherent traces of ritual behaviour, I propose to identify a commonly held developmental template designed in the service of an organised and shared religion.
