graduate programmes in Archaeology at Nui Galway

The Department of Archaeology at NUI Galway has a stong commitment to graduate research and offers four graduate study programmes to suitably qualified applicants. The MA in Landscape Archaeology and the M.Litt. in Archaeology allow graduates with degrees which include archaeology to further their studies at graduate level. Some graduate students choose to proceed to doctoral research for a PhD. For graduates from disciplines other than archaeology, the Department offers a Higher Diploma in Archaeology to allow interested students to move into archaeological research.
