AYIA conference: 8-10 March 2013
![]() |
We are pleased to announce that this year’s Association of Young Irish Archaeologists (AYIA) conference will take place in NUI Galway from Friday 8th to Sunday 10th of March. This event will give students and recent graduates an opportunity to present papers in addition to encouraging undergraduate and postgraduate archaeology students to attend a conference hosted and attended by fellow friends and scholars. Speakers at the 2013 conference will include scholars from the various Irish Universities and ITs, where archaeology is part of a taught programme. The programme will also include a number of short presentations by others working in the profession. There will be a poster competition and a table quiz in addition to live music and entertainment on the Saturday night. Attendance to the conference is free and we look forward to an informative and enjoyable weekend. Keep up to date on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/AYIAConference2013
