Between Monday 10th and Wednesday 12th of September 2012, you are invited to attend any one of 4 introductory sessions given by members of staff. These will introduce you to the subject and to the exciting range of Archaeological study and research that is undertaken here at NUI, Galway.
(As well as this web site and the
1st year programme handbook, there is also a notice board in the Department near the Secretary’s office for announcements on courses and fieldtrips. We are ready to help you out and glad to meet you, so call to see us with any questions you may have.)
The first module you will study in Archaeology begins on Monday 17th September at 10.00 am in lecture theatre IT250 (first floor).

The lecture-based modules in first-year archaeology (AR113 and AR115) are open to Visiting Students (AR117 is not open to visiting students). Visiting students should firstly confirm that their home institution permits students to take first-year modules. Further details can be found in the 1st Year Programme Handbook.
