Student Drop-in sessions during term time

If you need assistance with anything on the list below please call to Room 102, Arts Millennium Building between 11.30 - 1.30 p.m. on Mondays during term time. The first session will be held on Monday 10/09/2012. You may be given an appointment to call back if necessary. We can help with:

• Blackboard - access, navigation, downloading material, uploading assignments, using blogs and wikis, etc.
• Email - accessing, sending, receiving, organising
• Basic Information Technology skills - if you have a quick question, or are in need of a few 'catch-up' sessions to cope with the demands of your course, then drop-in and talk to us. Beginner Computing Skills classes are scheduled in October. You can sign up for these classes during a drop-in session in September.
• On-line software training in Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint and more.-This is available by self-enrolling on the 'ECDL' course on Blackboard. If you need help self-enrolling, then call to us!
• ECDL information and registration. Hand in your registration form and get answers to any questions you have regarding ECDL.
