Research and Professional Development Plan

At the Structured PhD Induction module (GS535 Induction and Professional Development) you will learn more about the development of your Research and Professional Development Plan (RPDP). This is a document you will present to your Graduate Research Committee and your end of year review, to give them an overview of your activities and achievements during the year.

Items you might like to include in this document:

Structured PhD Programme: yearly record of module choices, dates attended, assessment requirements, dates completed
Supervision: yearly record of supervision sessions, dates, summaries of key points
Scholarly Activities: conferences and seminars attended, papers presented
Research Logbook: research focus/research questions, timetable, achievements
Skills Development: areas where some training might be needed, and plans for acquiring training
