Art classes on campus with Marina Wild

Why not try something creative and relaxing?  Whether you are a complete beginner or are looking for a dedicated time and space to draw or paint, why not sign up for one of Marina Wild’s popular art classes?

They run year round and are open to students, staff and the general public.  All classes are suitable for all levels.

We are delighted to announce that Marina's popular classes will re-commence the week of October 21.  Registration will open tomorrow: Wednesday, October 2 - please e-mail Marina directly at: to register your interest, citing which class you would like to attend.

Venue: The Art Room, upstairs in Áras na Mac Léinn, NUI Galway campus.  Lift available.

Days, prices & duration:
Tuesdays & Thursdays:
Lunchtime classes (1-2pm): €40 for six weeks
Tuesdays & Thursdays: Evening classes (5:30-7pm): €60 for six weeks

Drawing materials are provided but please bring your own paints, brushes and canvases.  Marina can assist with choosing art supplies. Work by students from the art classes can be exhibited annually during the University’s spring arts festival, Múscailt.
