Czesc ;o) I'm the craziest girl in the lab. My name is Agnieszka, Agnes for those who don,t know how to pronounce my name properly. I joined Noel,s 'chicken' group this October as a first year PhD student. I'm working on the role of the NBS1 protein in DNA double strand break repair. Before I came to Galway I studied Biotechnology at Wroclaw University of Technology and I had graduated with a Masters Degree in July 2003.
In between experiments I enjoy teaching my lab-mates some useful Polish words. If I'm not in the lab, you can find me in the cinema or in a pub enjoying Guinness and live Irish music.
