Hello! My name is Anna Stephan. I joined the Ciaran’s team as a Ph.D. student in October, 2003. I was born in Wroclaw, one of the most beautiful Polish cities. I graduated with a Master's Degree in Molecular Biotechnology and Bio-catalysis from Wroclaw University of Technology in June, 2003. I am now studying the role of SMC1 protein in the DNA damage response.
Outside the lab I’m trying to improve my English all the time that’s why I spend each free evening or weekend in the local pub, chatting with people from all over the world:)
I love strawberries and sun ... so you can say that I really enjoy Irish weather:))))))))))
