  The main research objective is to delineate the signalling pathways during cellular stress and apoptosis. In particular, we focus on:
  Communication between cellular organelles
  Mechanism of apoptosis induced by stress to the endoplasmic reticulum
  Mechanisms of inhibition of apoptosis by heat shock proteins
