May 2011Two new posters are availble for download on the Griffith Groundwater group's publication webpage. The first poster (Petrunic et al., 2011) is focused on the groundwater geochemistry in the Burren and Gort lowlands. The second poster (O'Connell et al., 2010) is focused on geophysical surveys that have been conducted in the coastal regions of the Burren and Gort Lowlands. Siddhi Joshi, a PhD student in the Griffith Marine group, was awarded Best Poster at the 54th Irish Geological Research Meeting (IGRM) held in February 2011 at NUI Galway. Her poster was entitiled "Coupled hydrodynamic-sediment transport modelling and habitat modelling in Galway Bay, West of Ireland". She is supervised by Garret Duffy, Colin Brown & Anthony Grehan. It's available for download on the Marine group's publications webpage. |
