September 2009 - Research Findings Overview as Project Closes

During this 36 month project, research advancements were made in the areas of suitable and optimum enzymes and mediators, novel surfaces, immobilization strategies, and hardware construction. The key results are summarized in a Dissemination Brochure, which can be downloaded here.




22/05/07 - Phil Barlett receives the Carl Wagner Memorial Award

Professor Phil Bartlett, from the School of Chemistry at the University of Southampton, is awarded the Carl Wagner Memorial Award by the Electrochemical Society. This award is for mid-career achievement and excellence in research areas of interest of the Society, and significant contributions in the teaching or guidance of students or colleagues in education, industry, or government.

The FP-6,EU-funded STREP, Biomednano, commenced on the 1st July 2006 and is scheduled to run for a total of three years
