A. 1: 'CORE STAFF'
Staff must be registered as 'active' on the Human Resources database (called 'Core') before ISS grant access to these services, so please check with Human Resources to ascertain your status. Staff will gain access to these services 24 hours after they have been registered as 'Active' Core staff members.
A. 2: 'NON-CORE STAFF' (e.g. HSE staff not being paid by NUIG HR Department)
Non-core staff can apply for a 'T' account from ISS. Staff should apply to the ISS Service Desk (extn. 5777 email servicedesknuigalway.ie) with a letter from their HOD confirming their status and rationale for access to NUIG services as part of their teaching and learning brief.
