This guide outlines the steps you will need to take to select the language pack for your course. Instructors can even set the language of the course independently from the language setting of the overall system. In addition to supporting most European languages, Blackboard supports multibyte character sets such as Japanese and Chinese.
Blackboard allows all users to customise their teaching and learning environment by selecting from a number of available language packs. Follow these instructions to enable the language pack that best meets your requirements.
Log into Blackboard.
Navigate to the Control Panel of the course whose language pack you wish to change. Click Customisation, then Properties.
Select
Set Language Pack.
Choose a language from the drop-down list.
Click on the Submit button to change your language pack settings.
Blackboard also allows instructors to customise the language pack settings of a particular course by selecting from a number of available language packs. Follow these instructions to enable the language pack that best meets your course requirements.
