Q. I can't access any NUI Galway computer services (e.g. logging onto Computer Suites; accessing email, accessing Blackboard etc).
A. Students must be registered with Admissions for the current academic year before ISS grant access to these services. Student will gain access to these services 24 hours after they have registered.

Q. My password doesn't work on Blackboard.
A. ISS generate a single username and password for all services so please contact the ISS Services desk on extn. 5777 email: servicedesk

Q. Some of my modules are listed as ’Unavailable’ when I log into Blackboard. What does this mean?
A. All Blackboard modules are set to 'Unavailable' when created. This means that lecturers can access that module but students can’t. It is up to the instructor to change the module status to 'Available' so that students can access content. NOTE: it is not a requirement for NUI Galway staff to use Blackboard in their teaching and learning
