To see which of your courses use Blackboard:
When you log into Blackboard, you may not see all of your modules. If this happens, check the following:
Your NUI Galway RegistrationBlackboard course enrolment information is read directly from the student registration system. Log into NUI Galway's Online Registration, and make sure you are fully registered for the module. It is not enough to register for a programme, you must also be registered to the individual module.
Your Blackboard Course AvailabilitySome lecturers do not use Blackboard to provide course materials. To
see if your module is available on Blackboard, log into the system, and look at your My Courses listing. Blackboard-accessible modules should will allow you to fully click in and access the course. Other modules that say they are "unavailable" are not in use by your lecturers.
Blackboard processes enrolment information every night. If you register for a new module, or change your existing modules, the changes will not be applied to your Blackboard account until the overnight update job has run. After making registration changes, log into Blackboard the following morning, and your course list should then be up-to-date.
If you are correctly registered, and the module is available on Blackboard, please e-mail servicedesk
nuigalway.ie to report the access issue.
