Upgrade to Blackboard 9.1 (Completed)

Blackboard is an increasingly important tool in the academic and student life on campus.  Since Blackboard became a mainstream, fully supported service in September 2007 its uptake by teaching staff and students has been astounding. The system was upgraded to version 8.0 in summer 2009. Version 9.1 is the current release.
 
Students surveys, conducted annually by CELT since 2008, show that it is very popular among students, the main complaint being that it is not used for all their courses. The number of staff using Blackboard has increased from 1069 in September 2008 to 1826 in January 2011.
