Mobile Computing Strategy
Develop an NUI Galway strategy and vision for mobile computing. The main aim is to produce a development roadmap and create one mobile application targeted for students, staff, or the public. The application will be determined by the strategy and stakeholders requirements. This work will engage with internal stakeholders to gather requirements for mobile computing. The aim is to create a working framework to govern campus wide development of applications, web sites, and content for mobile devices. The guiding principles are:
· accessibility
· low-cost
· usability
· reach
· future proof
· open to individual initiatives
· tie in with unit strategy
· seek economies of scale
