Based on the success of The Synergy Project 2012, funding has been
granted for phase II of The Synergy Project which commences early 2013.

the distribution of the Kerry Slug

The University runner up Synergy Project 2012 Poster Award was given to

The Synergy Project offers all postgraduate students a platform to discuss all aspects of present and future research topics in the presence of more experienced Academia, as well as their peers, across disciplines. The Synergy Project provides a forum for promoting academic collaboration within and across disciplines in order to add value and build upon the current practices with a view to enhancing the scope and quality of the research production process. The Synergy project will
· Increase the number of funded research projects
· Inform and assist students on the pathway of progression
· Support Inter-college collaboration
· Promote collegiality
· Disseminate funding opportunities to the wider postgraduate population
· Improve on the current modality of how research is conducted
