The main NUI, Galway campus of 104 hectares is located in Galway city. The main campus extends from the city centre to the outdoor playing fields at Dangan, a distance of 2.8 km along the bank of the River Corrib.

• Rental properties at Nun's Island, Dangan Business Park, Ballard House, Newcastle Road, University Road and Woodquay in Galway city and at Ghaoth Dóbhair, Co. Dún na nGall and An Cheathrú Rua, Co. na Gaillimhe comprising 7200 sq. m. of buildings.
