move management

To facilitate smooth implementation of staff movements from one location to another, advance notice and planning is required. The Buildings Office co-ordinates the various inputs to effect the relocation (including, for example, ISS). This requires a minimum of one weeks notice to all relevant service areas.  Please note we try to schedule office moves at 10.30 a.m.

• If you are moving office, click here for the Move Management Request form, save this form to your desktop, fill in all relevant details and send the completed form by email to movesnuigalway.ie
  
  NB Please note that Cost Centre must be provided on the Move Management Request Form (this information is used for tracking space allocation / reporting purposes, nothing will be charged to this code).
  
  The Move Management Request service is for staff moving office only - if you have any other items to be moved please see http://www.nuigalway.ie/buildings/facilities.html for details of services provided.
  
  
• If you require boxes for packing of material please click here to get the Request for Boxes for Office Move form, save this form to your desktop, fill in all relevant details and send the completed form by email to movesnuigalway.ie
  NB:  PLEASE NOTE YOUR BOXES MUST BE PACKED AND READY FOR TRANSFER ON MOVE DATE. 
  
  If you
• have filing cabinets to be moved, please empty them prior to the move date, boxes can be provided to pack files into for the move.
• have computer equipment to be moved, the equipment must be disconnected / packed and ready for transfer on move date.
• require an new extension / fax no. please access application form on ISS web page at  http://www.nuigalway.ie/cs/staff/telecommunications/landline/index.html
• are moving a Water Cooler please contact the water suppliers directly to organise the relocation of your Water Cooler.  Contact details are on the Procurement website.
• are moving a Photocopier please contact your photocopier suppliers directly to organise the relocaton of your photocopier.
  
  
• If your unit is moving building / area please email Shred It directly at serviceshredit.ie to organise the relocation of your confidential shredding console.
