What our students have to say:

I completed the Executive MBA programme at NUI Galway in 2006 and I am glad to say that I found it a truly positive experience. The overall organisation of the programme, the quality of the lecturers and the stimulating discussions that took place among the group put the foundations in place that enabled me to take my career to the next level. Almost four years on, I can say without hesitation that I would not be where I am today if I did not complete this programme.

Kevin Marmion
Finance Manager, Medtronic

My memory of studying at NUI Galway is a very positive one not just for the academic learning but also the group and peer-based learning. The MBA has helped me grow professionally and personally and gave me the full set of skills required to make my business what it is today.

Gene Brown
CEO, The City Bin Co.

The Executive MBA programme at NUI, Galway has broadened my perspective on business philosophy and my knowledge of business principles and I have learned how these can be applied effectively in a practical context.  The programme is delivered by a staff of competent lecturers, who have significant research and professional experience, and students with diverse backgrounds learn and develop quickly.  The lecturers recognise that the knowledge and experience of the students is a vast source of learning and the programme is structured to incorporate this into the teaching, through an interactive discussion process which is always interesting and enjoyable.

David Quinn
Research & Development Manager, PEM Europe

The Executive MBA at NUI Galway was extremely beneficial to me.  Having access to very high calibre lecturers in the School of Business and Economics enabled me to consider macro economic issues more in-depthly and think outside the box more broadly.

“Having made the decision to study an MBA programme, I set about deciding which MBA programme would be best and which programme was best suited to meet my needs. The NUI Galway Executive MBA scored highest on both counts. It has long been an ambition of mine to study in the US so the International Study Visit to Fordham University in New York was excellent and a great learning experience.  The course content is quite varied and addresses many contemporary business issues. Coupled with that, the opportunity to apply the theory in real time through the applied consultancy project in Second Year is something I am really looking forward to. And, while I am only just completing the last semester, my only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner!”
