    Biography:

    Naomi joined SEMRU as a postdoctoral researcher on the Interreg Marnet project in February 2013. She holds a PhD (Economics)from NUI Galway which was funded by EU FP6 project PROTECT. Naomi’s research interests include bioeconomic modelling, fisheries economics and management and ecosystem good and services. She has worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the Norwegian College of Fishery Science, University of Tromsø, Norway where she was involved in two EU FP7 multidisciplinary projects; CoralFISH and HERMIONE. Naomi’s work has been published in a number of peer reviewed journals in the field of economics, marine policy, ecosystem services and fisheries.

    Natural resource economics, marine economics, fisheries economics and management, bioeconomic modelling, ecosystem goods and services, stakeholder engagement, marine policy, marine economic indicators
