Area of support: Overall management of the Career Development Centre and Career Guidance, Careers Development Learning – College of Arts, Social Sciences and Celtic Studies. 

: A graduate of UCG (B Comm, H Dip in Ed.) and UL (Grad Dip in Guidance Counselling) and currently undertaking an MA in Career Education, Guidance and Information in Higher Education with the University of Warwick. 

Josephine spent 16 years working in industry in a variety of management roles and was a self employed Training and Development Consultant for 8 years. In this role she worked with a variety of industries, designing and delivering management and communication skills training programmes. Since joining the Career Development Centre on a full time basis in 2008 and up to July 2013, Josephine has had responsibility for providing career support, guidance and education to a number of colleges including the College of Business, Public Policy and Law and the College of Engineering and Informatics and currently the College of Arts, Social Sciences and Celtic Studies.

Hobbies and Interests: Josephine is interested in all things “arty”, is a board member of Youth Ballet West, her local National School and likes to support graduate art exhibitions by buying a painting or two. She also enjoys music and  has an eclectic mix on her MP3 player (from Adele, to Sea Sick Steve), enjoys a music festival every now and then and has taken to performing herself occasionally with the NUIG staff choir.
