Specialist Area: College of Arts, Social Sciences and Celtic Studies, Directly supporting BA Child Youth and Family Policy and Practice, BA with Children’s Studies – Denominated and Connect, BA with Human Rights

Background: Brídín graduated from UL with a BEng in Industrial Engineering.  Brídín worked for 15 years in the private sector across Electronics and Medical Device Industries in a number of key positions across functions including Engineering, Supply Chain, Operational Excellence and IT. More recently she has worked as a senior recruitment consultant managing client engagement, sourcing, screening, selection and preparation of clients across executive and IT functions.

Having joined NUIG in July 2017 Brídín has been responsible for supporting the college of Arts in introducing placement across a number of new programmes. She is responsible for coaching students through the selection and placement process to ensure that the learning experience is valuable and rewarding for both the student and the employer.

Hobbies and Interests: When Brídín is not at work she enjoys spending time in the outdoors with her family and Labradoodle, reading and travelling.
