Irish Research Council Postgraduate Scholarships includes Employment Based Programme & Enterprise Partnership Postgraduate Scholarship. Part of their suite of interlinked programmes funding researchers across all career stages and disciplines.
University Vacancies Ireland search for funded research positions
North/South Postgraduate Scholarships open to those undertaking a recognised Master’s Degree or the first year of a PhD programme (taught or research) in the other Irish jurisdiction.
Irish Cancer Society: Research Scholarship Programme and summer programme.
NUI Awards A number of studentships including: Travelling Studentships. NUI Post-Doctoral Fellowship in the Sciences (including Engineering & Architecture). NUI Dr Mary L Thornton Scholarship In Education.
SPHeRE: Ireland’s national research training programme for population health and health services research (PHHSR) and is funded by the Health Research Board in Ireland. SPHeRE means ‘Structured Population and Health-services Research Education’.
The For Women in Science UK and Ireland programme from L'Oréal UK & Ireland, awarding Fellowships to outstanding female scientists across the fields of physical science; engineering, mathematics and computing; and life science. Since 2007, 57 female post-doctoral researchers have been awarded a Fellowship worth £15,000 (equivalent € in Ireland)

Irish students from DCU, NUIG, TCD, UCC, or UCD can apply for a master’s degree in Notre Dame’s Engineering, Science, and Technology Entrepreneurship Excellence Master’s (ESTEEM) Program. There is also a PhD programme.
