Event Feedback“We were delighted to be invited to attend and have input into the inaugural National Graduate Employability Forum. It was a very worthwhile event attended by a good mixture of recruiters, careers advisors and academics. The forum focused on a very important issue for our future graduates and the enthusiasm from all participants was very enlightening and brought positivity to the employment market which has been lacking since the economic downturn. We would be very keen to be included again and would hope that the participants would have longer to spend discussing the issues raised.”
“I found the National Graduate Employability Forum to be very useful. It was a rare and excellent opportunity for me to engage with other graduate recruiters, academics and Higher Education Careers professionals. It gave me an opportunity to hear information on how other countries look at the topic of employability. The discussion groups were both constructive and functional. I felt that a lot of progression around the topic was made in just one half day. I would like to see such a forum become an annual event”.
“The forum was excellent. I was very impressed with the quality of speakers and the way it kept to the advertised itinerary. I found the Seminar to be relevant and beneficial and it was great to see employers such as Ernst & Young and EMC in attendance also.”
"I believe the National Graduate Employability Forum was a well delivered, informational initiative that allowed all the key stakeholders (academic & industry alike) the opportunity to share their experiences, opinions and practises. This avenue is much needed and I believe has the potential to deliver measurable value add to both the academic and industrial areas, promoting closer interactions thereby adding strength to Ireland's position as a top location for education and work opportunities."
