Services to Employers

 We offer a number of services & facilities to all employers who wish to recruit: 

• Final year and postgraduate students for "Milk round" vacancies
• Current students for vacation, internship & work experience opportunities
• Recent graduates for vacancies where 0-3 years experience is required
• Students for part-time & casual opportunities (e.g. retail, bar work)
• Work placement opportunities for penultimate year students.

Presentation facilities on campus: Promote your vacancies directly to our student population by coming on campus and hosting a company presentation. Selection of on-campus events available free of charge. Read more here... 

Career Seminars & Workshops : Looking for new, innovative ways of working with our students? Why not:   

• Deliver a skills/employability workshop (e.g. Teambuilding, Presentation and Time Management)
• Facilitate a CV & Interview preparation workshop  
• Participate in our series of "Your Degree in ..., What Next" and/or "Ask the Experts" career seminars.  

Interview Rooms & Assessment Centres

• Available all year round in convenient on campus locations
• Meeting rooms suitable for aptitude testing or for meeting with smaller groups of students
• Free of charge
• Catering facilities nearby

Information Room: Display your current job vacancies on our our bulletin noticeboards or maintain a presence in our Information Room by sending updated marketing materials (e.g. application forms, company profiles, giveaways)

• Sponsorship: prizes, projects, sports and social activities, events.
• Social media: our social media pages are focused on careers events and careers-related news. We are happy to add your Twitter account to our lists and to 'like' your Facebook page. However, other than our 'job of the week' update which is chosen at the discretion of the Career Development Centre to show the range and variety of graduate and student opportunities, we do not advertise individual vacancies or services on Facebook. Exceptions are some graduate programmes where large numbers of students/graduates are hired. All such tweets and posts are at the discretion of Careers staff and are not guaranteed to be added as it will depend on the number of requests received and Careers events taking place at that time. 
• Social bookmarking: if you are a recruitment agency we will add your website to our delicious.com/careersinfo site tagging the link with your specialisms to reach appropriate students / graduates.
• Advertising or article publications e.g. student publications (e.g. student diaries, orientation booklets).
• Building company links with graduates through the Alumni Service - http://www.nuigalway.ie/alumni/.
