Refer a student to the Career Development Centre

You could consider referring students who:

• Is looking for graduate employment
• Is considering further study options
• Requires information on funding for further study
• Would like information on the career paths associated with a particular subject 
• Is experiencing difficulty with career issues, causing them to consider leaving or changing their course
• Has a specific career need due to a disability
• Is unsure of their goals or future
• Needs assistance with an job application or interview

You can refer students towards:

Quick-Query interviews with an adviser. These ten minute drop-in advisory sessions are available daily between 11.00 am and 12.00 p.m. and also 2.30 p.m. and 4.00 p.m. (year round)

Advisory interviews are 30 minute sessions for final-year students who have more complex career issues. Bookings can be made by email / phone Ext. 3589 or by the student calling in person to the Career Development Centre.

The Information Room which is available throughout the year for students or staff requiring career information (such as the career options relevant to choice of subjects, databases on postgraduate study or searching for work)

Workshop /seminars are one or two-hours long and focus on such areas as career planning or CV/Interview preparation.
