For entry to undergraduate medicine in Ireland from 2009 applicants will be required to sit an admissions test, HPAT- Ireland (Health Professions Admission Test - Ireland). The CAO will use the results of both HPAT-Ireland and the Leaving Certificate to make offers in 2009. |

Applying for Medicine or Dentistry in the UK? Some universities require UKCAT first. All results will be transferred automatically to UCAS. Can apply and do this test in the summer prior to making the application to UCAS. There are Irish centres. |
