Assistant Marine Biologist, British Antarctic Survey. Duties include aquaria and chemistry lab maintenance, seawater sampling, sediment trapping and ice observations. Undertake biological monitoring with the opportunity to assist other scientists on field trips.

Marine Pollution Adviser for a non-profit, international organisation involved in combating oil and chemical spills in the marine environment. Relevant degree required. Good written and oral presentation skills, strong interpersonal skills and computer literacy vital. Fluency in a language other than English an advantage.

Administrative Assistant with Southern Regional Fisheries Board.  Degree in relevant discipline required.

Marine Ecophysiologist with British Antarctic Survey.  Good Science degree in a relevant subject and preferably PhD. Duties incl. Marine invertebrate collection / holding, physiological experimentation and manuscript production.

Marine Modeller, MarCon Computations, Galway. Involved in developing of water quality models and existing and new hydroinformatic tools such as MarGIS. Postgrad degree in Civil Eng or Marine Science.
