Employers are particularly interested in physics graduates because they have an excellent combination of technical skills, mathematical modelling and a high level of numeracy. 

You will have technical skills that relate to different areas of physics and also the numerous transferable skills employers look for such as:

• Computational: a practical approach to problem solving using mathematical formulation and solution.
• Communication: the ability to reason clearly and to communicate complex ideas, develop & write research proposals.
• Investigative skills: define research problems, develop research models & establish hypotheses
• Technical: design equipment, observe data, use instruments  & identify and classify materials
• Research skills, problem solving and analytical skills
• Team working and presentations skills should also be promoted if you have worked on projects with other class members.
