Occupations - a virtual library

There is a massive amount of careers information online... if you Google "Teaching Careers" you get over 40 million hits! Select Ireland pages and you still get over 44,000 hits! We’ve taken the pain out of searching the internet looking for relevant sites to help you find out about careers in… well, almost all sectors!  And we’re adding to the pages all the time as we come across new websites.

Using Delicious to browse links:

Every link is tagged and tags are 'bundled' together in groups making browsing easier:
Arts, Business, Engineering&IT, Health&Medical, Law or Science . 

The links below will show all external sites that are tagged using that keyword (e.g., Accountancy) and in some instances there are many links. To narrow down the search you can use the 'type another tag' box at the top of the page, e.g.,

• see only those relating to careers information and job descriptions - type JobProfiles
• for job vacancy sites, use the tag Jobs
• for sites related to further study use the tag Courses.

You can also browse the tags along the right hand side or search using the Type another tag box and display the sites alphabetically or by date added.

To search for a particular topic in this list use CTRL+F.
