We have files on job profiles, prospectuses, info on working abroad, books to reference, PCs for careers research, and more.

If what you need to know is not covered in the information room,
then you can book a 15 minute appointment.

15 minute appointments

Who can make an appointment with a member of the Careers team?

During term (generally September-November, January-March):
      - Current students of NUI Galway on production of student card

Outside term (generally December, April- August):
      - Current students of NUI Galway
      - Graduates of NUI Galway up to 3 years after graduation

Log in to Careers Connect (see menu sidebar) using your NUI Galway login details to book an appointment.

Reserve a place on the day itself or the previous day - subject to availability - i.e. you cannot reserve a place for Friday on Wednesday, but you can book for Friday on Thursday or Friday subject to places being available.

During term we have up to 81 appointments available weekly - they can fill up quickly so please try again if they are full.

You don't need to make an appointment to access information - just call into our enquiries desk or browse around the Careers Centre to reference files, prospectuses and books.

15 minute appointments are usually available on the following days with the following careers staff (subject to change and current availability is shown on Careers Connect):

30 minute appointments: available to students of NUI Galway only on referral after attending a 15 minute appointment. Referrals will appear in your Careers Connect homepage.
