The range of collaborators within the CCHSRD reflects the multi-disciplinary nature of this area. Behavioural and social scientists work with colleagues from the clinical sciences to provide the essential inter-professional approach to carrying out research in the context of the newly-reformed health service.

The Centre has a biennially rotating Chair; the current Chairperson is Prof Andrew W Murphy, Discipline of General Practice, NUI Galway.
