In order to assist participants, we have created this list of accommodation. Favourable rates have been arranged.

It is important that participants please highlight their needs if they have a disability when making their booking. Please note that it is the responsibility of each participant to determine for him/herself whether the accommodation meets their specific needs and requirements.

Corrib Village

Corrib Village is on campus accommodation. The Village is right beside the Summer School venue. It is made up of apartments, the number of rooms varies per apartment.

Please note, if you have accessibility needs, please state this when booking. There are a limited number of accessible rooms in Corrib Village. Accessible apartments in Corrib Village contain bath tubs, they do not have roll in showers.

The Carlton Hotel (This will soon be the Connacht Hotel) 

This hotel is about a 45 minute walk from NUI Galway. The accessible rooms in this hotel are of a very high standard. Previous attendees have found their experience here very comfortable

This hotel is approx 20 minutes walk from the university. There are wheelchair accessible rooms available.

The Westwood hotel is to the west of the city, and is approx a 10 minute walk to the Summer School venue. There are some accessible rooms in this hotel.
