Living real lives in the community - innovation in services for people with disabilities and lessons for families and older people

On the 17th of April, the Lifecourse Institute, NUI Galway hosted the following public lecture:

’ Living Real Lives in the Co mmunity – Innovation in Services for Persons with Disabilities and

Lessons for Families and Older Persons.’

Dr. Michael Kendrick spoke at the event. Dr. Kendrick is a pioneer on community living and a global consultant.

He spoke about finding ones interests and likes through trial and error. He also discussed fnding a role within the comminity and being involved with a community.
